OFRANEH (Organización Fraternal Negra Hondureña) has spent decades defending Garífuna ancestral territory, culture, and community rights in Honduras.

Today, Garífuna people are on the ground defending their ancestral land and demanding justice for Garífuna land defenders.

Funds raised will provide direct support to OFRANEH and Miriam Miranda for resources and needs identified during this ongoing struggle.

OFRANEH has established an indefinite resistance camp outside Honduras’ Supreme Court of Justice, calling for an end to the criminalization of Garífuna land defenders and for the implementation of Inter-American Court judgments protecting Garífuna territorial rights.
